Re: poorly kwak

The engines aren't quite the same I don't think.. pretty sure they have different oil specs and therefore seals for a start. Do your homework on it anyway :)

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

That is a good feeling.. I had it once where the rear started to spin up as I was picking the bike up out of a corner, then it gripped and wheelied slightly sideways - still haven't had anything with a nicer feeling happen. That beats Kneedown easily

Re: poorly kwak

A P8 will fit but it isn't as good an engine and if you try to sell it on you're likely to find it difficult.

If you ask politely, Monty might crash his bike for an insurance job then you can buy his engine off him?? ;)

What's wrong with it? Did valve meet piston but you didn't get away as lightly as my Fiesta did?

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Starting from Wednesday last week I started football again.. that involved the Bleep Test and more football-based fitness training. Friday was Sprint-Endurance Interval training: 1minute on, 1 minute off (Treadmill flat out at 20km/h) Monday was Sprint-Endurance again and tonight will be more footba...

Re: What the duck have I done to my car?!

For anyone that has me on FB you will have seen that I successfully fixed my car!! 6 bent exhaust valves replaced and lapped into the valve seat. All new gaskets and I spent a good amount of time cleaning the mating faces until they were flawlessly smooth to the touch. Everything back assembled and ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I've started being able to consider going back to the gym now... going to be very tough but I hate that my large chest is shrinking and my small waist is growing. I also have a heart rate monitor to track my 'training zone' and to monitor my cardio improvements. The plan: 3x/week 1minute sprints, 1 ...

Re: Hate politics

This is the exact reason so many 'acts of terror' IMO, people want change and are starting to realise they have a voice; it's just a shame that it has a terrible effect on people's feelings towards islam in most cases. All the scaremongering really p!s$eS me off though, thankfully it doesn't affect ...

Re: New road going Desmosedici?

What are the rules surrounding that...? 1000 bikes produced and sold to the public??

Would be awesome if they did that, another V4 for sale would make it awesome and I'm sure Aprilia would up their game

Re: New road going Desmosedici?

I doubt they'd put the desmo name to a bike when they aren't winning championships in MotoGP to be honest.

I'd imagine a V4 could be on the cards though with some wild form of electronics and 215bhp or so. wet weight of 170kg maybe???

Re: Chilcot Report

Public opinion is easily swayed by the government issuing misleading or incorrect press releases, it just takes 15+ years for the truth to actually come out although some truths will never come out. The report says the whole thing was manufactured, they didn't need hindsight to know it was going to ...
