Re: Bassetts Pole

I used to go to a few meets when I first started riding, one of them being the Lord Darby just outside Hook. I was a really popular meet that basically kept the pub alive. Unfortunately the loon element kicked in and there where wheelie races and burnouts ...

Re: Do you remember your first ride?

As a follow on from that, i still get amazed at how much better new bikes are and can still get totally blown away by the acceleartion and also the stopping ability of new bikes...even after all these years.

That 1199 Panigale test ride just a few weeks back being a case in point.

... the crank. Yet this rider seems to be able to blitz everyone when he decides to and looks so in control and comfortable doing it. Just shows what being a fast rider really is all about.

Re: Switching from Road to Track

Too much commuting has all but ruined any chance of me being able to hang off a bike. Even on track. It feels so alien, and I end up slower and not as smooth or controlled. Only bad thing about how I ride is that I am right up to the edge of the tyre ...

Re: Kwacky's Donington Report

I think it's a great idea but almost impossible to organise ourselves being realistic. The best approach would be to get in touch with an event organiser and discuss possibility of having a TS exclusive event. If too expensive or not enough interest to fill ...

Aww crap Monty.. sorry to hear that mate, especially since a replacement isn't likely for a bit. Being without a bike suxs believe me. I know parting it out is a pain and your least fav option, but if you do, let me know what you've got to flog. Part of the deal with the ...

A little Kwacky tale

... to Jack, Rocket and Spudda. Jack has given up a job to come and look after us. Spudda has taken time out of his day to drop by and Rocket, despite being a fresh faced slapper, has ridden more than 2 hours to bring cake and say hello. Perkles is lying on the floor like the bear from Jungle Story. ...

Take it easy mate and if your tied or the hero juice is flowing full flow its always wise to walk away early whilst still winning. I speak from experience of the not so wise being carried away camp of loosers.

Have fun dude

Re: Fantasy Road Race

I personally think Rea's time has passed. He has never looked like being a champion in WSBK.

Hopefully Scott Redding will get Bautista's bike next year. I can see Crutchlow in with a chance of Bradl's bike.

Re: What are you doing today ??

Hey Itchy, being a parent can be hard work at times, well most of the time, so I don't blame you in the slightest for enjoying the benefits!

The good thing about my roster is I get to help on school activities and outings a far bit, no fit teachers but some of the mums are OK.

Cheers mate. Looking forward to getting back into work if I'm honest. The break has been nice, but any longer and I'd start getting bored or more injured doing DIY.

My life is being injured doing diy :D I still don't miss work 8)

I edited my post with the scheme I went for. Its called regalia, should go with the scheme of the bike and being white based should be fairly visible too.

Guess what? News laws being rushed in to allow the Police and other agencies the right to snoop on our mobile phones and internet use.

It's amazing how this new security threat arrived just a couple of days before.
