rode it to ap got SOAKED on the way home torrential rain AGAIN at Donnington through to Doncaster. the bike is running lovely though

Had a full day at AP and the generator was cooked and i mean cooked melted and black... they serviced the bike at the same time and gave it a tune up all fixed and running sweet as a nut on the way home.

... create a stink because they can hear noisy bikes (even if it's a Car they can't tell the difference) when they're at the golf club/tennis club/at home in garden on the weekend, they understand and use the process of lobbying and accessing the Police Commisioner (elected so lobbying is effective) ...

I'm so glad I washed it yesterday. Doubly glad I took the advice from the weatherman so left my waterproofs at home.

... bikes, laid them on their sides and sub-contracted recovery to idiot outfits that can't even supply a driver with a map or satnav to find the home of the recovered person & bike. (facepalm) In short my experience says don't go with the RAC.

... position all day hasn't helped with the swelling!! Sometimes I hate being a contractor and not getting paid sick days! Just started my commute home I know where your coming from, I'm between contracts at the moment. Got an interview tomorrow thats looking promising though.

Once back on the A44, i rode back to Crossgates, had a quick tea and headed back home the same way i rode down, through Knighton, Ludlow and Bridgnorth arriving home just before 6pm. Eating a banana ready for my 10K run after work.
Getting on the bike is always weird after a run (yes I have a shower first). I find i'm relxed/knackered and have a nice pootle home. Even doing 40-50 feels fast.

Haha. I reckon that bike cost more than mine. Its got a trick carbon frame and durace components all over it.
Will write a little report on upgrades when I get home but brief summary is WOW !!!!!!! Being honest I didn't expect such an improvement. I'm well chuffed to say the least

Jet washed it, mainly in an attempt to clean the discs and pads. Taking them apart looked far too much hassle.
Dunno if ti worked yet as the garage wasn't far from home and couldn't tell.
Also booked it in for its 9000+ mile 6000 miles service in 2 weeks time, when I will have done 10,000 miles.
