Re: a tweet from a cyclist....

Oh, and horses should be kept in fields. They really do my pip when they ride them on the roads. Shitting all over the shop and the fat bird waving a thank you for slowing down. Bloody hate horses I do!

...and ride 2 abreast on them racing bikes, ride in a line of 20-30, pull out suddenly in the middle of the road to avoid manholes with no indication that they are about to cause you to brake. The list is endless, plus they think they're so cool in their shades haha.

Re: Motogp returns to Donington for 2015

Just great, so everyone attending next years GP will either get cramp from standing up all day, piles from sitting on wet grass all day or a bad back from sitting in a camping chair all day. What idiot decided to choose Donington over Silverstone? Silverstone is totally geared up for big events. Thi...

Re: MotoGP Indy Race Thread (spoilers)

Good job Bradley is a racer, imagine the piss taking he'd get with that squeaky voice and ginger bollocks in main stream life?

Re: Overtaking police cars

I'll pass them on my bike, but put it in 5th or 6th to kill the sound coming out of an unbaffled Scorpion 8)

Question: (includes spoilers)

Marquez to win all 18? I predict no he won't and I hope he doesn't. Plus did you hear about him racing in the MOTO 2 race at Valencia too? I'm starting to dislike him now. The only way he is not going to win a race is by being knocked off and I predict Lorenzo will knock him off at the first corner ...

Re: Buying a Track Bike

Just for reference. I bought a K2 Gixer with decent suspension, full Ti micron system, race bodywork, 520 conversion, SES rearsets & clip ons and a power commander for £1100 in 2008, it still had the scrutineering stickers from racing a few months previously. The deals are out there, but in the...

Re: Buying a Track Bike

Went to see it earlier. Not too bad really. No mileage clock and rev counter don't work. Said he will take £1300 for it. We will try and look at some more to get a feel. I think if we made him an offer of £1000/£1100 in a week or so he'd go for it.

Re: Buying a Track Bike

The bike in question is £1500. We are no more than novices. There is a 2002 gixxer for sale near me with a set of wets going for £2000. My mate said we would get a deal in November. It won't hurt to have a look at this kwacker though, just to get an idea.

Cheers for all your input (y)

Buying a Track Bike

Me and my mate are thinking of buying a cheap track bike, probably no more than 2k. We have seen a 2000 ZXR 750 which looks nice in the pics. Not seen it in the flesh yet. It has front and back paddock stands and tyre warmers. No mention of spare wets. What signs should we be looking for when we go ...

Re: Best Stuff To Get Tyreweld Off Plastic

Well done spudda. I had some PVC cleaner in my van and tried that. I bought some sticky stuff remover and that was pants. The PVC cleaner did the job! I used it on a 'magic sponge' and worked a treat (y)

Best Stuff To Get Tyreweld Off Plastic

Long and short, had a nail in my tyre while out last week. Used up two canisters of tyreweld to get me home, but the stuff was squirting out all over my under tray and now it's made a right mess. Have tried white spirit, but not budging it. Any ideas what I can use please?
