Re: Hand Guards

I think the wire route through the handle bars to the switch gear, but its hard to tell. Although saying that, the bolt inserts would block it so not sure. The pics show a Triumph Tiger, so it should be compatible with mine.

Like Kwacky say though....

I like them mate!! They look pretty snazzy.

And as you say, any additional signalling which other road users may see is a bonus

Re: Karl "Bomber" Harris

All the racers know the risks and potential consequences if they get it wrong. Its why you have heard one or two of them say on TV that they accepted they could not win on the day and just wanted to finish where they were. Anstey said it yesterday and you can see McGuinness isn't happy ...

... Quote from David Jefferies: "I'm not going there with a false sense of security, I know what could happen and I accept it." I'd say that's about right for anyone that rides at the TT. Of course the do-gooders would want to save people from themselves, read that as inflict their ...

Re: Squeaky bum time (onboard from snetterton)

Didn't watch all the vid but I'd say you need to move up to inters. Your relative speed to most of the others is too big and recon you'd feel a lot safer in inters. It's much easier and it all flows better when you're arriving at a corner ...

It's much easier and it all flows better when you're arriving at a corner doing similar speeds to the other bikes around you.

Re: Geek advice on a laptop

Getting the best laptop you can afford from PC world should be fine for your needs. That's what I did and bought a Lenovo. Been really happy with it.

I'd say the only consideration might be if you want a blueray player in it or not (if liking to telly)

Geek advice on a laptop

... I want a new one. I've been told to look for something with a fast processor, but they may as well have told me to look for a flux capacitor. Id say I want to spend less than £400. I have a Sony Bravia tv that my mate reckons I could hook up to the laptop and stream films ?? Any ideas ?

Re: Suspension Settings

I'd say you're not far away from ok, as long as you can't feel it bottoming out at any point it shouldn't be too far out, if you're in any doubt have chat with a suspension pro, it's normally money well spent.

Gave it a decent (for me ) clean as commuting in this rubbish weather means it is constantly filthy. I must say it is holding up well to the UK weather and my abuse.
