Re: Work

Looking forward to the 4 day weekend, it's been a very hard month of learning and getting the project up to scratch.

Next year is going to be quite tough as we have a hard deadline in April to keep the funding going.

Cage shopping. The mini bearly passed its MOT last year and it's now got a noise from the front left that's getting worse, plus I've had to reset the engine warning light a couple of times recently. Time to get shot before I actually have to fix it. ...

Re: The Football Thread

Sky has won a dead for the showing football. The new four-year deal will cover at least 215 Premier League matches each season from 2025/26 to 2028/29. That's almost 60% of games will be live. So 60% of games can't be played at 3pm on a Saturday. They ...

Re: Work

My boss phoned in sick today. He's been signed off for the week. He said he's got flu but I reckon he's run down. We've not replaced two team members, his father in law died earlier this year, his mum is ill and his dog died last week.

Hopefully he'll get some rest.

I got a quote for a Jaguar I-Pace a few months ago, was mulling over getting rid of the Van, £6224.88 per year with business mileage. Keeping the Van!

Re: Insurance

It's across the board. The insurance companies didn't make enough money last year. They need to increase their net worth to cover potential losses, so pretty much all insurance is going up. It's being pushed by the re-insurers, the companies who back the insurance companies.

Been catching up on some sleep and a shopping trip for my parents, then De-Farkling my neighbours S1000XR, he's only had it a year but when he took it to Scotland it was a literal pain in the arse even with the comfort seat... He's had a ride on the new 1300GS and fell for it immediately, ...

Tell me why without telling me why I shouldn't get a new bike with a 4-year warranty? I'm the wrong person to give advice here, I have a new bike on order right now, there's a chance it will be delivered on my birthday (rock) If you like it and can afford it ...

Get it, the years your body could tolerate a 600 sports bike are dwindling, enjoy it while you can!!
