Re: Bank Holiday Monday Rideout - Buxton

... fun we come up into a line of stationary traffic at what I presumed to be the start of Snake Pass. An elderly gentleman coming from the other way takes the time to inform us that the road is closed due to an RTC involving a motorcyle. Or as he finger-waggingly put it to Rocket, "one of YOUR ...

Happy New Telly Day

... Samsung LED. I have to say that now I've got a proper HD telly linked to the HD sky box I can see the difference. While I was scanning round I did take a gander at the all singing all dancing 4K telly's.. They look nice with the curved screen, but I'm not sure that I could really see the difference ...

Rocket ordered curry, not cake.

Seeing as it was his first ride out I'll let him off. But if I catch him doing it again I'll take his keys off him and make him walk home ;)

... the TT as much as they do to make money. If you've got kids and your taking the car then peel is defo worth a look for the beach. Tbh I wouldn't take the bikes to the TT again, the roads are getting silly and the ferry prices the same for two bikes (as we do).

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I always have mine on trickle charge in the garage as thought that was best advice, not sure now.

I've been today as i promised my son i would take him.

Weather was a bit shite though not quite as bad as they originally forecast.

Its astonishing how hard the bikes can accelerate in the wet once they are upright.

I'll be there.

I'm tempted to have a spot of brekkie first, Monty-style (not rushed, just chilling out).

It's only an hour to get there for me. Well, it's an hour and a half if I take some decent roads up there instead of all this straight road nonsense!
