I wasn't overly impressed with the SBS pads yesterday. Clearly they're geared up for the road.
On the track they heated up very quickly and did a great job of stopping the bike, but they're very wooden. There was very little feedback from them and they were a bit grabby.

Re: Kwacky's Mallory Report
I had a cracking day - the SV is a pleasure at Mallory, and I particularly like the bit when people ask what I've done to the engine to make it so fast ... "Nothing, it's stock" ;-)
Great to meet everyone - promise I'll get along to some of the road events this year!!!

I love my chaser, but bought a GTAir recently, ideal for road riding, very light, the internal visor is a great addition.

Like Godzilla, I have never found another helmet that fits me better than a Shoei and I currently own a GT Air.. Internal sun visors are so much better for road use.

I asked them why road racers who are fast at the IOM, can't win short circuit races and vice versa. They were both adamant that if the fastest short circuit guys wanted ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing M7rr Metzeler review
I got try these out today in standing water and damp roads.
Blimey, talk about stable. For everyday road riding it's like the roads are dry. No movement, no slides, normal braking.
I'm very impressed.

Thundersport GB - Round 3 Race Report - Snetterton
... 200 – 3-5 May 2014 It’s the other long haul race for us driving from Bury (taking 5 hours each way, not helped by the seemingly permanent road works on the A11). This was also one of last year’s bogey tracks for me, where I notched up my only DNF to date (A very wet race last year where ...
