Re: Mobile phone renewal

I bought a mid-spec laptop (which is mighty fast I must say) 2 years ago, since getting my S7 I have barely used it besides for CAD and internet shopping or research (solely for the ease of use hence the full size keyboard and big screen) The laptop and phone are on par in terms of speed thanks for ...

Re: Clear visor

Rain-X works great on my car windscreen but keep your helmet in a warm place overnight otherwise it will have condensation on it from the start you will have to keep wiping it until it warms up a little from your breath.

Re: Mobile phone renewal

I've heard the same from people I worked with in my old job but I never had an issue - it was better than O2 that's for sure.

I'm lucky that I get very good signal at work with Vodafone because they put a mast on the tower of one of our buildings - 4G even in the toilets !!!

Re: Mobile phone renewal

They were crap when I was with them before, then I went to Orange then they got crap. Then O2 and they got crap and now I'm with Vodafone again...

Re: Mobile phone renewal

Try Vodafone.. say to them that you saw their offer of £24/month (£30 upfront), Ultd Calls/Texts, 6GB data and see what they can do.

You'll likely be able to get a good deal especially with the 2 phones. No one else compared to Vodafone on that deal and they're now the No.1 network in the UK

Re: Ducati 748 - Road to track/road

What Monty said makes sense :)

Maybe buy sport touring tyres for the other wheels though so you always have the option of riding on the road in colder conditions if you so wish :)

Re: Mobile phone renewal

I've had the S7 for almost a year now and love it. Battery life is degrading a little now but it's still miles better than my S4 was. The screen is beautifully coloured, pixels so small you cannot see them individually by eye, the camera is superb and Samsung seem to be on the ball with keeping the ...

Re: Ducati 748 - Road to track/road

Duke, do you want a tyre that can do both track and road in equal measure or are you happy for something which is 75% track / 25% road? Something that bridges that gap would be the ContiRaceAttack Endurance compound. It's like an SC3 would be on a Pirelli (filling the void between SP and SC2). Prett...

Re: Twit of the day

The real twit of the day is me.. Travelled 30 miles before realising I left my wallet at home which I needed to get across the Severn Bridge then on my return with my wallet I spilled coffee down myself as I hit a bump on the motorway. Anyway.. I was on the slip road and infront of me was a guy in a...

Re: What ails you today?

I'm surprised you're not getting B12 injections...

I was B12 deficient and then D deficient and both times I got injections (they really ache by the way). Maybe ring them back and press for injections over supplements as absorbing supplements can be an issue for some people

Re: Helmet recommendations

I think I get what you're saying....

Manufacturers will make different models fit differently to one another. Typically a touring helmet will be more roomy in the cheek department whereas a sport helmet will have more cheek padding because a racer is more likely to be lean than a touring rider

Re: What ails you today?

I've got a really bad throat with a sinus-type headache today, yesterday was just a normal sore throat.

People in my house are also up in the night with nausea and other symptoms... Eugh, not again !!

Re: Helmet recommendations

HJC or Shoei for me. Arai cannot be matched for comfort but their helmets are too expensive and too heavy. AGV don't fit my head, nor do Shark or Scorpion HJC ventilation is amazing and it fits me slightly better than the Shoei. The RPHA10 I have is a very good helmet indeed. CRASH TEST: My mate cam...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Cheers Kwacky, everything has calmed down a little bit and I've made the conscious decision to not let anything he does affect me anymore. Why should someone who wants nothing to do with me have control over me? Anyway.. I've got motorbikes, videos of motorbikes, and photos of motorbikes to be doing...
