Sorry to hear this, its good that you are taking such a measured view of the incident. As for giving up biking, it could be for the best, especially for the short term, as you said you can always go back if you change your mind. Take care and look after yourself.

That could be a ligament issue. These can take a while to heal. Lots of stretching is needed to stop them from stiffening up.

I gave it a good clean and lubed the chain and left it in the trickle charge while I was away but thought I'd take it for a quick blast and get some air in the tyres as the sun was shining, got to the garage 5 mins away and the fecking heavens opened up and I got fecking soaked.
