Re: Mars Coming Into Opposition

This should be a really interesting event - I can't remember the last time this country had a credible opposition...

Re: F**ktard of the day goes to..

I think any Met officer that includes the word "Pleb" on his report these days may be directing the traffic 20ft under the Embankment before the ink dries...

Re: Yes - another one!

Spudda - it's one of the older pre 955i Tigers, it was bought as my winter hack in 2006 to save my shiny new 675 from getting eaten by the British winter, but as I sold the road Daytona 5 months back (written off already) it's my only road bike at the moment, it's built like a tank and bright yellow...

Re: someone wants to take the bike round the car park

If you want to politely refuse without actually being seen to say no by him, try quoting the Company rules - all the large companies I've worked for have strict rules on the use of their car parks enforceable by disciplinary action, and if they are a bit ambiguous chances are if you work on a Busine...

Re: Sahara Sand

It's all over our cars here, bit of dew and mist overnight and the windscreens looks as if the car had done a stage of the Paris Dakar. :^

Re: New set of down pipes needed

Don't know if you've approached your dealer with this issue Norfolknchance, but we've had a fair few of the 675 headers cracking - normally by the link pipes iirc, I know Triumph have replaced some sets foc, but obviously you'd be lucky to get a free set on a 7-8 yr old bike. But if you don't ask......

Re: Protective sticky stuff

Don't know if they're still available, but Motrax used to do those clear adhesive patches for rubbing points like boot heels etc, I used them to stop Mrs Gee's boots from rubbing on the seat unit of my old T595 with good results, I think they do a carbon version as well, although they do look a bit ...

Re: The New England Kit

You weren't the only one Frankie, bin liner with compulsory bungee's springs to mind. Unfortunately. Anyway next year we've got the Rugby World Cup right here - sorry to say the bodies on most Rugby fans are sadly the same shape but taller and wider. But at least they don't want to kill one another...

Re: F**ktard of the day goes to..

This isn't something that's just happening - although obviously it's come to a bit of a head with this incident and I don't think political pressure is going to make this one go away. The college I attended in the 70's had a very reputable English department, which attracted large numbers of ex-pat ...

Yes - another one!

Hello all, I guess a few of you already know me from the 675 forum, but for those of you that don't, I live in N.E Essex (and yes I've heard most of the Essex jokes going!) I've been not so much lurking as watching with interest from a distance and decided to do the indecent thing and register. I've...
