Re: British and French convoy

The tour is amazingly well organised. We saw a stage a few years ago. The gendarmes know how to ride and block roads.

Did the frenchies do the roadwork or was it the British police?

Looked really good on tv too :)

Not near us this year :(

Suffering with hayfever. I've managed to escape it for most of the year but it's kicked in today.

Re: D6's Speed triple issues

I'm only a fair weather rider but always have a sticky piston when I clean and strip the calipers every year as part of my service so if riding through winter crud and salt the calipers will have it very tough.

Re: D6's Speed triple issues

The calipers and pistons will just be needing a clean, D6. If you are commuting on it for much of the year, the insides of the calipers will be covered in crap.

I used to go to Germany on training courses a couple of times a year, the subject of Brits abroad came up from time to time and tbh was embarrassing, they saw us as a joke, with the need to get bladdered and cause trouble where ever we either holidayed or ...

Rossi extends his contract for 2 years

Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis has spoken of his delight at securing nine-times world champion Valentino Rossi on a new two-year contract. Rossi’s deal to remain on a factory YZR-M1 for 2015 and 2016 was confirmed earlier this afternoon after the Italian’s impressive run of five of form ...

Re: Weekend Plans

Well I was in Cologne last year which is just down the road. We went to Leverkusen for the football.

It was mostly bars and beer when I went. Lads long weekend.

Cologne is worth a visit. The Cathedral is magnificent. There are some very nice bars along the river as well.
