Re: 20 mph

Most of the roads where we lived in Brum were 20mph. No one stuck to that at all and no one enforced them either.

I've seen some crazy speeds being driven past schools in the 20mph limit.

Sadly a good idea but a waste of time and money :(

Re: BNIB Petrol Chain Saw

You can get chainsaw trousers and overalls which are thick enough to stop a chainsaw cutting your leg or hand off. They will still make a mess of you, but they jam the blade so it stops. My chainsaw is terrifying and I always want to the scared of it. Keeps me alert. A hard hat with ear defenders an...

Re: Dainese One Piece Waterproof oversuit in Black

This is why I hate ebay. A buyer takes ages to pay, he joins tankslap to get the free postage offer, then demands an invoice with the discount, takes days to pay, has the goods for a week now claims the goods aren't as described. So he's had use of the suit, or found something cheaper and despite m...

Re: Tankslap takes France (pic heavy)

Yeah, we did have a good time. Time passes all too quickly though and I'm looking forward to the next one already :) The lack of traffic is great, you explain distance in time in France rather than km or miles as it usually takes the same amount of time to get somewhere as there is limited traffic. ...

Re: What you watching?

The wolf of wall street

Watched it last night actually. Long film... 3 hours.

I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. Lots of naked ladies and drugs, yes, but story telling wasn't very good IMO.

All well and good but resources are their problem, not yours. I'd be inclined to keep asking as otherwise it will disappear. Then you are well and truly being shafted IMO.

I've conquered the place. The daft locals haven't even realised yet. I think we frightened a few and dodged a few tractors at speed.. It's a start :D We went to the local circuit today too to have a look at an open trackday. Empty track :P The temptation was almost too great, however the cake was w...
