Re: Dronestagram
Oddly enough I was in a "drone store" the other day quite by chance....thought it was a hobby shop for model kits. I know my kid has one that wasn't very expensive at all....not sure if it could haul a GoPro or anything that heavy. Come to think of it.....how would you activate the camera ...

None will. It would take much more than that.Kwacky wrote:I wonder which US state will be the first to break down? These flash points are getting to be a common occurrence.

Re: New road going Desmosedici?
Makes alot of sense Duke as they can concentrate on the Panigale as a road bike and obviously they don't race the 1299 and pretty pointless to continue with the 1199R imo. Homologation numbers had gone up to 3000 units but has been recently reduced to it 500 units according to a quick Google search...

Re: Chilcot Report
Public opinion is easily swayed by the government issuing misleading or incorrect press releases, it just takes 15+ years for the truth to actually come out although some truths will never come out. The report says the whole thing was manufactured, they didn't need hindsight to know it was going to...

Re: Chilcot Report
And sometimes we don't. What's done is done. With Hussein in power there was always an uncertainty in the public's mind. That is, the public OUTSIDE of Iraq. Inside it is a fecking nightmare, and it'll will continue to be that way, as you rightly point out. We're talking about tribal warfare combine...

I like this idea!!!
The reason I got into history so much was through Airfix kits....not the kits themselves, the blurb on the back about what each weapon did, it's performance, where, etc. etc.

Re: Chilcot Report
How would you take out a guy like Hussein without the measures used?? The guy traveled constantly between various residences, never staying more than two nights (I think?) in the same place.
The World is safer today than it was when he was in power.

This is Sir Chilcot's statement at 11am today: http://www.iraqinquiry.org.uk/media/247010/2016-09-06-sir-john-chilcots-public-statement.pdf The last two lines killed it for me....they'd been given every available option to disarm, and every time Hussein said yes and then took a step back and did no...

Re: Chilcot Report
Didn't the UK have a sizeable British community inside Iraq?? I think Blair acted upon the information he had at hand. Regardless of Blair's motives, Hussein was an abomination of a man, and killed more of his own people than anyone else. If I saw a guy eating up some defenceless person, I'd go to h...
