You only have to see what's going on in Iraq today to realise we shouldn't be getting involved. Damn right. Sadly the only thing that held that country together was Saddam. I really don't know why we got involved in the first place as the oil will be under threat ...

... (ideally if they're not going my way lol). I try not to do it on a bike as I think it leaves you in a very vulnerable position- far too open to getting shunted.

Fingers crossed, but sounding good.

If you have got the brown connector between the v of the engine, I would 100% recommended getting rid of it. Its a well known problem.

I'm not aware of anything being able to shift it, Sorry.

I take it you've tried all the usual stuff like meths or WD40? I've got some of that tar removal stuff. That might be worth a shot.

Is it worth getting a hairdryer and heating it up to see if that helps?

I must be getting old as I don't like over loud cans. I have the baffle in mine as the can is so small it has limited noise attenuation and was too much when riding all day.
