I have them in all of my tanks. They're good for helping out with algae and detritus. They're also a good indicator to what's going on in the aquarium. If you get a population explosion then there's too much food for them. My blackwater tanks are full of rotting botanicals ...

... even necessary on this bike to be fair, all the bolts are stainless. It does seem to make the bike easier to clean but all the painted parts are also coated in Gtechniq C2, it's a silicone based long lasting coating like wax on steroids. The ACF is very good at killing salt's corrosive properties ...

Dammit. I sliced my back open with a safety razor while shaving.
And before anyone asks - no, I wasn't shaving my back....I was tying my hair back with a hair-tie-thing and also had a razor in my hand at the same time.
