Re: Annual Isle of Man Trip
... to have to be a no. Financially I've got a choice to make, it's either a couple of track days or a trip to the IOM. Given the Euro track day next year and I haven't been on a track for at least 3 years I really need to do some track days.

... you're arriving at a corner doing similar speeds to the other bikes around you. Totally agree with you monty. I started to move up to inters last year but as I hadn't done a Trackday (or ridden a bike) since last October and it was my 1st time on a 1000 I thought I would get used to it in novice. ...

The 848 Corse SE i test rode last year had a quickshifter. Its a great piece of kit and would work really well on the track but not sure it has any benefit on the road.

@duke - the oil was changed towards the latter part of last year and it transformed the front of the bike.
The suspension isn't actually bottoming but it is close. I guess I'm asking if that's normal.

... American rainforest. It's breathtaking the diversity around one single tree. The Indigenous people can cut down a certain number of trees. A 200 year old mahogany took an hour to fell. The tribe gets $3,500 for it. It'll be worth 20 times that by the time it's cut up and sold in the west.
