Re: Miss Firing Rsv
... it's way out. There are a couple of things you may want to check. Firstly have a look at the voltages when the bike is running and check to make sure you are getting a good output from the stator. From memory it should be about 13.5 volts at the battery terminals. I'm guessing from one of the ...

I'm sure deaths on any racetrack get seen from a very different perspective if you are one of the racers.

Re: Hand Guards
I think the wire route through the handle bars to the switch gear, but its hard to tell. Although saying that, the bolt inserts would block it so not sure. The pics show a Triumph Tiger, so it should be compatible with mine.

Re: Engine temps again
Didnt Tim have problems with his over heating and it turned out to be a faulty water pump ?? :? Not sure if it was a faulty water pump so much as a faulty water pump fitter (giggle) Hub's bike had an overheating problem that he never got to the bottom of though. I'm wondering ...

First gen daytona 675 quickshifter
I'm sure this will open a can of worms, but I'm looking into a quickshifter for my first gen 675 track bike. She's already got plenty of mods and was piloted to the 2008 Australian BEARS F2 championship but it's missing one ...

Feck me they're all broken! I'd try cleaning your rad and making sure there is enough water in first. I jet wash mine very carefully from the inside out where you can get at it and then outside in where you can't. Be careful around the fan. I've been doing ...

The 848 Corse SE i test rode last year had a quickshifter. Its a great piece of kit and would work really well on the track but not sure it has any benefit on the road.

Re: Daytona 600 coolant leak.
There's a bleed nipple on the water pump by your left foot, but I normally take the bottom hose off. (same side)
Make sure you close nipple up properly after you've filled it. I've forgotten to do that twice and got a very wet left foot!

... cap. I'd guess that I need to take the left side off ? Booked myself a trackday at Oulton Park for later in the month & just want to make sure it's all running fine. I don't wanna be the guy who overheats & dumps coolant all over the track... or breaks down on the way there lol Thanks ...

... 3L packs, they work well but need a regular clean out/sterilisation or you pop them in the freezer in between rides to keep the bugs at bay. Not sure I'd take one with me on a Rideout, but if you don't stop regularly and need something on board I'd be looking at either the ones that fit in some ...
