... their 899. The staff are very friendly and the girl dealing withe the test rides (can't remember her name) was very knowledgeable. At no point before or after was I put any pressure to buy or subjected to any harsh sales pitch. I test rode a new 675R there last week and she suggested trying ...

Re: Custom leathers
My mistake was not taking a picture at the final fitting to make sure the last seaming was going to be OK, then I could've had before and after.
The quality of the product was good but these were hand finished and I think whoever it was had a hangover

Re: Custom leathers
I had a bad experience with some custom leathers but it was a long time ago now. Sent off all the measurements, went down for a fitting before being machined properly so you'd think they couldn't get it wrong. They sent them through the post a couple of weeks later and the trousers were ok ...

Cross threaded engine bolt :(
I'm servicing Jane's 600rr (2005) at the moment. I've never done it before on her bike and as it doesn't do many miles (8000ish in 9 years :D ) I've not taken the fairing off for a long while. Anyway, mid panel on right hand side needs to come off as well ...

... arrived and floored it. Fair play he could shift. There's an 80 degree right hander just after the lights so I had to wait for the corner exit before I could really pin it and leave him behind.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took the Multi out for an evening thrash.
I know i've said it before but it really is the best time to be out on a bike. Not much traffic and no scamera vans.
Just have to keep an eye out for Plod in the car as they suddenly seem to be out and about when everyone else is at home.

Re: Strange Question
Yesterday I bumped into the father of my neighbour that jumped under a train a few weeks ago. Not met him before but almost the first thing he said was how happy he'd been to see John's friends there.

have you ever tried ferodos ? Funny you should say that, literally just driven past the factory. Never considered them for bikes before but looks like they have quite a few different compound options http://www.ferodoracing.com/products/motorcycle/brake-pads-and-shoes/array-cooling-xrac/" ...

Re: Ducati 899 panigale
You did well to find a place with a demo bike. I've asked at Coventry about a test ride but they don't have a demo bike as they can sell everyone they get their hands on.
Salesman said everytime he orders one as a demo bike he ends up selling it to a customer before it even arrives.
