I think mortgages will go back to the old system, where you had an interview with someone at the bank and you need a decent deposit.

I should ask my work about a scheme for motorbikes.

It's a hard one. The ring is massive and it is a public road (I think). It's always had cars and bikes running together without too many issues. I can understand both arguments but it's one of the few places where you can put a bike against a car and race them for real.

I try and avoid the big coffee chains for this reason (they're all as bad as each other) and go for local independents where possible. The coffee's usually better quality too.
