Re: Yamaha TT350 seizure? Please help

... noticed anyway. The only reason I noticed this time was due to the fact they were caught on the base of the sump plug. There was no bang, backfire before it cut out and I didn't notice any smoking. However I have no mirrors so wouldn't have noticed it. It was odd, immediately when I stopped I checked ...

Re: Yamaha TT350 seizure? Please help

I might not be so with this bike. They do get some flakes in the oil. Its not a sure sign of failure provided they get regular maintenance.

Have you seen flakes in your oil before?

Before it cut out did you have any backfiring or smoking?

Spent this morning trying to shake off a hangover before picking the kids up. Then spent the afternoon at a farm in the blazing sunshine, still with a hangover. There has been a lot of sweating going on today...

Re: Sunday 22nd June - Wales Ride out

Kwacky can us Raven boys meet you at the McDonalds in Newtown (met there before) instead of craven arms cafe. We could see you there for 1030-1100. Sorry for late change but been mentally busy recently and not had chance to look at maps. The run for us from ...

I'd check the pads and pistons are moving freely and squarely before doing anything else, D6.

Re: Custom leathers

My mistake was not taking a picture at the final fitting to make sure the last seaming was going to be OK, then I could've had before and after.

The quality of the product was good but these were hand finished and I think whoever it was had a hangover

Re: Custom leathers

I had a bad experience with some custom leathers but it was a long time ago now. Sent off all the measurements, went down for a fitting before being machined properly so you'd think they couldn't get it wrong. They sent them through the post a couple of weeks later and the trousers were ok ...

Cross threaded engine bolt :(

I'm servicing Jane's 600rr (2005) at the moment. I've never done it before on her bike and as it doesn't do many miles (8000ish in 9 years :D ) I've not taken the fairing off for a long while. Anyway, mid panel on right hand side needs to come off as well ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Took the Multi out for an evening thrash. (devil)

I know i've said it before but it really is the best time to be out on a bike. Not much traffic and no scamera vans.

Just have to keep an eye out for Plod in the car as they suddenly seem to be out and about when everyone else is at home.

Re: Strange Question

Yesterday I bumped into the father of my neighbour that jumped under a train a few weeks ago. Not met him before but almost the first thing he said was how happy he'd been to see John's friends there.
