Geek advice on a laptop

... is , as I'm not really a computer man , what laptop do I buy to make the most of super fast unlimited broadband? The acer I've had for about 4 years has slowed to a stop almost and I want a new one. I've been told to look for something with a fast processor, but they may as well have told me ...

Re: Suspension Settings

The suspension was setup by Griff a couple of years ago.

Is biking in the blood?

I was speaking to my Dad the other day and he was telling me about his family tree research. He got into it a few years ago and has managed to get a few hundred years of "Itchy's" into his records. It is quite interesting, although he does manage to tell me in such a way ...

Re: Car Tyres

I like the look of the Goodyears Rob.. (y)

I learned my lesson about budget tyres a few years back. I put a pair of real budget tyres on a Saab 93 Aero, I was skint at the time and that was all I could afford. What a mistake, it ate them in about 4000 miles (shocked)

Re: Car Tyres

Dunlops on the mondeo, very good. I used to work for Dunlop many years ago so I am biased. I usually buy dunlops on cars. Jane's C1 has thin Michelin Energy Savers. Terrifying in the wet. I've never had tyres that understeer so much! Pirelli PZero's on the ...

We've avoided family holidays for the last two years. When you've got really small babies you just end up doing all the chores to have to do at home, but in a different place. Plus without all the stuff around you that makes life easier. Twins are ...

Re: For the love of car boot sales

I did one with my Mum about 20 years ago. We pulled up in the car and some scrote opened the boot and started rummaging through our stuff before we'd turned the motor off. Never ever again!

This cracks me up though

You're right about that. I learnt to filter on the M25, anything after that was child's play!
