Yeah I might have to go down that route, hopefully I'll get a call re the internals and I can crack on, problem is new forks usually mean spacers, different wheels etc, I suppose its do'able though, ah well, all part of the fun of restoring an old bike I suppose.

... I would get kicked of the track at a noisy day. Going to look at fitting some baffles behind the end caps to tone it down a bit. Interestingly though, the guy said he wouldn't have a problem MOT'ing them as he's more interested in safety than whether I can change to standard cans.

Company in the US called ABM make some really nice ones that would suit your bike perfectly, kwacky.

Not sure how easy they are to get hold of in the UK though.
