The work on the solar panels went on longer than I anticipated so just chucked some scampi and chips in the oven. And opened a beer, of course!

Sausage and bacon casserole with rice. Was very good tbh, it was the first time I've tried using beef sausages and I suspect, not the last. Yum.

In Chinatown. Just ordered Capital Spare ribs, 1/4 aromatic duck, sizzling fried scallops with ginger and spring onion. Feel hungry and soon to be feeling very fat, haha.

Earlier I made a spicy vegetable soup that'll keep me going for lunches for a few days. Tonight it's bangers and mash.

Been up since early and was famished when I got back in about an hour ago, so knocked up a couple of pizza toasts using a stale piece of baguette, oil, oregano, passata, cubed salami and grated cheese, feeling much better now and enjoying a cuppa.

... and a massive bar of chocolate to have as a side with that!! I only get a couple of times of the year (Easter too) where I don't feel bad about eating the amount I want to eat and not the amount I should eat haha!! Though must admit lately been buying chocolate or pudding type stuff every week...can't ...

Just had a Chinese take away tonight and like in kwackys house there is always some left over so that's my lunch tomorrow sorted.

We always order more than we need so we can have some the next day.

I made a simple Tex-Mex bean soup last night and a lime, avocado and chilli salsa. Was very good too.

At the MiL's for lunch today, feeling a bit sluggish after eating too much of a Tex-mex soup and salsa last night, I've got a bit of a black bean fermentation going on digestively, and that's not good in polite company. I may have an early bath.
