Re: motogp silverstone
You can see how the new young breed are changing the style needed to ride a Motogp bike. I chatted to Niall McKenzie yesterday and asked him if he had ever seen anything quite like Marquez before and he admitted he hadn't and said that Marquez is doing things on that bike that no one had ever though...

Re: Ice Bucket Challenge
Everyone i suspect gives their money freely assuming every penny is going to a good cause straight away but sadly that can never be the case in this day and age. At the last published accounts Children In Need had effectively £30,000,000 in cash or very liquid reserves that was not allocated anywher...

Re: Tyre decision
I'm not surprised no one has bid on that. Look at the repair!!!!
I would think you are leaving yourself open to being sued selling something like that.

Re: Rotherham
It disgusts me too but it does surprise me just how widespread this kind of abuse was and how those who should be stopping it either turned a blind eye or worse became part of the abuse. Even worse is that many of those who encouraged their staff in Rotherham not to report it, are now working at oth...

Borrowing money might not be a problem, paying back however............................. :D I'd put money on there being a Europe-wide wealth tax being instigated, possibly overnight, at some point. France already has one. All it does is make them all hide their money, usually in cash (smirk) (face...

Re: Ice Bucket Challenge
The cancer charities are the worst of the lot. Most of them are funded by public donations. They then use that money to create drugs which the NHS can barely afford. I was thinking more of the cancer care charities. A third of Macmillan's income is spent on fund raising. it's a dilemma for sure but...

Re: Those opening bars
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/playlist/greatestriffs Cheers, Kwacky. I still think there are some very bizarre choices in there. Whole Lotta Love over Black Dog? Fools Gold before Waterfall? How Soon is Now before What Difference Does it Make? Is 'How Soon is Now' even a riff? No 'Street Spirit' by R...

Re: Ice Bucket Challenge
That's another issue altogether, Kwacky.
You could point the same finger at most of the big UK charities too, including the cancer charities. Children in Need has some of the biggest admin costs of all. Once they get to a certain size they are little more than big business doing some good work.

Music tastes are a very personal thing.
Personally i reckon at least half of that top ten have written better riffs somewhere else in their music career.

Figures seem to suggest otherwise.
Its a bit of fun that costs nowt and hopefully the money raised will be used usefully.

I think most people are so fed up with Westminster that they may well choose to become independent but it will just mean you have feckwits making decisions in Edinburgh rather than Westminster. The whole of the western world is so deep in debt i am not sure politicians have much control in making ec...
