Quite fantastic day. Could not have been scripted any better. Rossi even wore a Tankslap helmet design.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Rode it up a steep Alpine pass and down the other side to Lake Como. Sat outside on the edge if the Lake in the hot sunshine eating a fresh Panini with a perfect Cappucino watching endless lines of hot Italian Totty walk by and the caned it through the tunnels and down the Italian motorway to San Ma...

Scrubbed the PR4's in this afternoon. Very different profile to the Angel GT's i i had on before and easier to turn in.

Re: Track / Race Scrubs

Dunlop GP211's if you can find some.

And the only question to ask really is how many laps have they done. You might notice they are worn slightly more on the r/h side than the left if they have been ridden hard.

97mph when he hit the car. Had he been going 40mph slower this may not have ever had to be shown.

We all take a chance on the bike now and again but it comes back to that adage of a right time and place.

What a bunch of grumpy old bastards we are. :D

Its pointless getting too worked up about these things as none of it will change.

Re: Hard viewing

Not easy to watch as others have said.

You should always assume the driver hasn't see you and will do what you don't want him to do.

Riding faster than he should have as well unfortunately.

Had a lousy day. Too much work, too many deadlines, too little time. And to cap it all the parcel i was hoping to arrive today, didn't.

I would guess its fraudulent to have insurance on a bike that you no longer own or ride.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Put my Multi wheels back on. What a ballache it is to remove and replace bike wheels. Is it harder or easier with a single sided swing arm? Never had one. Should be easier but both the Multi and the Speed Triple i had before have low slung exhausts which means you have to remove the end can as well...

I read somewhere they would receive better benefits in France than in the UK but the UK is the place to come for cash in hand work.

Re: Paying for private healthcare

£30,000,000,000 short fall in next years NHS budget. Talk of charging for some treatment and even a £10 charge for a gp appointment is being suggested. NHS expenditure is estimated to rise by 4% more than the rate of inflation per annum for the foreseeable future. It's just not sustainable in its c...
