Have you done many miles with the new (to you) discs fitted? It would take a while for the pads to 're bed' to the new discs. Should really do new pads but they should still bed in. Also did you clean the discs with brake cleaner or similar?

I think that's a common problem. It happened to mine. I think the R and G thread isn't spot on to be honest because it also happened on the D600.

... then after announcing more redundancies yesterday we've got a business update session this afternoon. So it's going to be a glorious day workwise. Also at home we've got a tree surgeon hacking all of the tree on our side and reducing the width of the hedge by about 50%.

... actually being helpful or just the normal brush off that you normally get with a stolen bike? How true and it's not only the fear of theft it's also the fear of keeping ourselves safe too In two attempted thefts on my previous bikes the police didn't arrive until 2 days later :(

check your earths and also the contacts to the starter solenoid they can get pretty crusty and cause the solenoid to overheat

... of the downstairs bedroom that has patio doors leading into it, that way apart from frightening a potential burglar as I lay in my pj's they will also come face to face with a 10 stone dog, plus my machete under the bed plus baseball bat at the side of the bed :) I hope you find who did this soon ...

I'll wait for the new pads then see how they feel. They're stopping the bike but I do like rock solid brakes. It probably has no relevance ...

I love BBQ's. I love to eat outside in the nice weather, and it's not just the grilled meat, but also the salads, potatoes, beer and all the other things that go with it. And yes usually people around too. It's usually good family time. I can eat inside the other 345 days of the year.

... proper adjustable reservoir mount. Without a bleeding kit it's been a bit of a pain to get it all set up. There's fluid in the system but there's also a bit of air. I've had enough for today. I'll finish bleeding the system tomorrow evening.
