I had a IT465 2 smoker for a few years.. loved that engine. I also had a Husaberg 400 4 stroke and while it was a far better bike there was something about that big 2 stroke that I still miss.

Re: What are you doing today ??

(lol)

I'm not even sure I've cracked 500 miles in the last 2 years, I'm not convinced another bike would help!

MV storage available at decent rates though!

It doesn't suit Labour as the last hundred years have proved, which makes them even stupider for not campaigning for PR.

Re: Got Me a Ducati

1600 miles in 6 years? Obviously not owned by someone into bikes :D Top find. I'm the 6th owner, but hey, it's got full service history. It's done an average of 300 miles a year. I've done that in two weeks just bobbing around. The ...

Re: Concussion

I had one years ago after crashing my MTB.... not really a bad wreck, but the bike followed me, took a hard bounce, and kinda trebuchet'd over onto my head... cracked my helmet right off, destroying the rear wheel in the process. ...

Re: Yamaha all at sea

I hadn't realized that the Suez Canal has been around for 150+ years... I'd thought that both it, and the Panama Canal were both 20th century creations.

Re: Mr Postman

It happened the other way around StMarks.... my "new" sister had only found out about me five or six years ago and hired an agency that tracked me down as far as Mary, who had no idea where I was at that time (separated), who turned her onto my cousin, etc. It's strange.... ...

Word of warning on the Halford battery sale. It seems many have been sat on a shelf for over 2 years and never been charged in that time. Thanks for that Duke, afaik they are ok to store for extended periods with the hermetically sealed lead housing and separate acid ampoule.? ...

Re: Oxygen on Mars

Getting people to Mars is going to be a lot easier than it was getting to the moon 50 years ago. I don't think most people understand the scale of the Apollo program and what they achieved with so little technology. And that's before you look at the materials available ...
