... are far worse for human health than a petrol engines because of the particulates. We should have gone small capacity petrol turbo/super chargers years ago. Much much cleaner and getting to diesel mpg and above in some cases. There are now millions of diesel company car users, myself included ...

How many bikes do you know that have a flat spot at about 4k??

I remember hearing about a Ferrari that would shut down half the cylinders if you held it at a specific RPM..

This has been going on for years, just nobody has made a furs about it until now.

IMO obviously.

If they committed to building (and selling obviously) a thousand of these over the next two years they could race it World Super Bikes in 2016 Good shout Monty (y) . TBH no reason why they coudn't race it next year and pull out in 2017 and hopefully enter a new CBR1000RR ...

Your right Jack and it's a great feeder fot the international class. The current sharp end of wsbk is bsb from 6 or 7 years ago.

Great to see the top 4 riders in the wsbk championship are all Brits (y)

Had to look that up, 1 is 0.0000116 inches! Yup I knew it was pretty extreme (22 years ago I was doing that) The lapping plate got sent away for a calibration check every year, but we just checked under a 40x microscope and when the components looked like polished ...

Tbh I reckon Dunlop has got a lot smoother in recent years. He still rides it like he stole it and is exciting to watch but I don't think he is anywhere near as reckless as he was only 3 or 4 years ago.
