Re: What are you doing today ??

Took my 5 year old to watch pixels while we gorged on hot dogs and pic n mix. Went to play arcade games and some Lego shopping after that. Just picked up some parts for my VFR that I couldn't stand not being original and now having a coffee and a digestive....or 7[emoji15]

Re: Circuit of Wales makes progress

... for an event like that. It just doesn't have the infrastructure in the surrounds and no one is going to build loads of hotels for one weekend a year. Its and instance of someone trying to make loads of cash on the back of government grants.

... the road but not that good as a fast track tool. The fuelling could do with a tweak so the link pipe and power commander is going to happen next year. I'm not keen on the crash bungs, they stick out too far. I bought them as you don't have to cut the fairing but I might bite the bullet and go ...

Re: Crutchlow signs new two-year LCR deal

A lot of rides in motogp are dictated by sponsors to have a certain natonality of rider so it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

But if true I'm glad as it makes a refreshing change to see an English rider getting some assistance.

I assume the castrol deal has opened up the money to pay him. Seems to have happened at the same time......

Re: Crutchlow signs new two-year LCR deal

I like racers who go for it and always go for the win rather than settle for points. Casey and to a certain extent Marquez are like this. They are true racers with that ultimate competitive streak. You enter them in any race and they will want to win it. Settling for points even when the right thing...

... black swingarm is from 05 onwards. Looks like a good mod to do but I think it's pretty hard to get hold of one. Something to think about for next year maybe. Just gave it a clean image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Re: Crutchlow signs new two-year LCR deal

I am surprised he's been offered a 2 year deal. He's a talented rider but he's prone to being rash and binning it rather than bringing his team some points

lucky to get the deal IMO, he's under performed this year. Ltt's hope he can turn around like Bradly did, or at least stay on it for Silverstone.

Frankie will agree with you on that one ;) Yep bought mine on the euro trip a few years back, top notch kit, have managed to wear it a fair amount this year. Sometimes with the hoodie over the top for first thing...very nice jacket ...

Putting all that to one side, I hope he makes something of it next season, he does have the talent if he stays on.

Re: Crutchlow signs new two-year LCR deal

Not making any excuses for Cal but has it been a decent ride for him this year ????

Strange as it is to say even the factory Hondas have struggled this season so maybe it's been even worse in the satellite team.

Chilly but very bright sunshine.

What I have noticed is that the ground has never really warmed up so the tyres aren't as grippy as you would expect for this time of year.
