... of it, on a normal bike that would have been my leg hitting the car and I might not have kept my right leg attached. I used to ride with a guy who had a similar accident but on his left, we call him 'Peg Leg' and his bikes have an electronic gear shifter fitted. (shocked)

People who park on pavements. There's no need for it. I've just complained to a neighbour. One of their visitors is completely blocking the pavement, forcing people in to the road.

... I never trusted him. He'll always be remembered for the Iraq war. But he did do a lot of good for the country. It does bemuse me that the people who shouted at me for being a traitor when I joined the Stop the War protests are now several years later agreeing with me.
