Re: Seamless gearbox on a road bike?

Seamless gearboxes, like slick tyres or launch control they’re things that anyone who watches MotoGP knows about but is unlikely to have first-hand experience of. But while slicks will never make sense on the road seamless transmissions are very likely to make the ...

"If he can make it, I can make it"

I had that for the first time at Pembrey this year; someone on an R6 who does racing came past me. He helped pull me along a bit and I ended up being half a second or more faster a lap (that's alot on a 1 minute lap!). Best trackday I've been on

... it hasn't nearly done so already. Been watching a bit of "Band Of..." lately....prolly the best depiction of WWII yet. Forget the guy who played the lead....Winters was the character's name. Underplayed the role perfectly, IMO.

They won't kick you off the track day but as you point out they're geared for those who aren't so track confident.

Re: It's time for a bike change - Cornish is on the hunt aga

I agree about the looks, but going on the tweets I see everyone who takes one out for a test ride seems to end up buying the MT10. Of the bikes mentioned so far the Speed Triple or the 1200 monster would be the two on a shortlist. I prefer triples to twins ...

Re: Cameron to resign.

Labour has its own problems. The Chilcott Inquiry is out soon and a few of those who have been sacked or jumped gun were supporters of Tony Blair. Corbyn isn't liked by those on the right of the labour party. Which is pretty ironic.
