Sir Frank Williams

He's passed away

Those Williams cars in the 80s and early 90s were amazing. Great drivers as well.

Re: What ails you today?

Essentially the same reading then. My Wife has a BP of 170 at one point while pregnant, they were obviously very concerned.. 5 minutes later it was down to 130. a few minutes can make a huge difference

Re: What are you doing today ??

Cycled into work this morning... in sub zero temperatures. I was pleasantly surprised that only my knees were cold (although I had to choice between breathing and having my face freeze off because of my snood)

Heated Grips or Heated Gloves or...

I'm intending riding as long as I can during the winter (gritters were out on the M5 this afternoon though :( ). I bought some gloves which have an inner lining but after yesterday I feel they're going to be no good on a decent ride. I only did about 40 miles ...

Re: The cycling thread

Wow... these locals trails at the Forest of Dean were INCREDIBLE! Quite flat so you had to really work on the corner speed but it was really rewarding.

Loads of jump opportunities and nothing of any particular consequence. Can't wait to go back to the Dowies

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Went on a club ride. 12 of us. Rode round Herefordshire and Shropshire. Roads were a bit too greasy for my liking but hey ho. Ran a squirrel over on the way to the meeting point :S I was following a lorry, squirrel came out of a hedge, darted back in and then darted back out under my front wheel.
