Re: Brexit thread

I wonder which way he voted?

It's long been known that British workers don't want to do large numbers of jobs. Getting rid of EU workers was never going to solve employment issues in this country.

Re: The Daily Post Election Politics Thread

... a component of natural gas, which is mostly methane. Using up the CO2 in a reactor plant is simply a method of recycling the gas in much the same way as a turbocharger recycles exhaust gases to produce more power. Or sommit like that, innit??

Re: New Suzuki sports tourer

... Cruise control and the layout on the TFT dash looks really good, I think the Tiger 900 is an example of how not to do it and this Suzuki effort is way better than that. Overall, I like it. The headlights are a bit R1/MT-10 and I like that.

Re: Brexit thread

Plus we failed to make any energy supply arrangements when we left the EU.

So the days of cheap surplus renewable energy coming our way are currently at an end.

I've certainly woken up that way a few times.... so yes, I'd say it could be considered normal, routine, - to be encouraged, even....

Re: Test rode a BMW F900XR

Okay so I rode the R1250RS with the full Akrapovic... God it's fast in the lazy mountain of torque kind of way, not the screaming IL4 way and corners like it's on rails, brakes are strong and that exhaust has it's lazy sound turned up a bit so checking the speedo was sometimes ...

Re: Sir Clive Sinclair

A real visionary.

I was a Commodore man when I was learning my way through computing but the Spectrum especially was an amazing machine for its price.

I hope he's remembered for that and not the C5

Re: Yamaha R1 60th Anñiversary

Looks really good. That yellow accent throws it off a bit, but in a good way.
Wheels should be black.... the gold is not cutting it.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... back just after 3pm, drove towards where I am staying this week (about 40 mins). Steam starts coming from the bonnet (so i thought), then a little way down the road, no air con, then no power steering. I manage to get it home and get the bonnet up - oil everywhere. Seems they didnt do the oil filter ...

Re: Back on a Kwak

In what way was there a lot of movement?

Did the bike skip over the surface and skid? Sit deep in the travel and push wide? Traction under acceleration suddenly letting go? TCS flashing more than normal?

Just be wary that tyres can very easily mask a bigger problem that's all
