Re: Suspension - reading between the bu!!sh!t
Best way to get a feel for what each adjustment does is to wind each adjuster (one at a time) fully in then go ride and the fully out and then go ride to see what difference it makes. A lot of standard adjusters are limited ...

Cav, please don't take this the personally as it very definitely not meant to be, but I think you have greatly undervalued your audience in this thread.
Some of these old buggers have been messing up suspension way way way before you got your hands on it.

Re: Air Filters
The main thing I prefer with the BMC over the K&N is the way in which it is seated in the Air Filter box.. The K&N is a hard plastic which doesn't seem to be well toleranced. The BMC filter is a soft plastic (rubber-like) material which seems to ...

Free wild flower seed kits
... in need of cheering up. There could be a small piece of land near you that's got weeds on it or would benefit from some wild flowers. It's a good way to help our wildlife as well. I've done something similar near me. It's nice to see flowers pop up and brighten up an area.

Re: Stoner: Marquez felt threatened by me
I like Stoner, he's similar to Mark Webber and Cal Crutchlow in the way he speaks his mind. I like Marquez because he upset the applecart and is fun - he is also one hell of a rider!! I like Pedrosa in a sympathetic way I like Lorenzo in Qualifying but in ...

But personalities make the racing more interesting. Loads of people hate the way F1 drivers are nothing but corporate mouthpieces now. Bring back Hunt being stoned and womanising after a race, Senna getting out of his car to tw@ someone, Mansell arguing at interviews. ...

... officers get all defensive and tell you nothing. I once asked a police officer if they liked it when a suspect says "no comment" all the way through an interview. He blushed, his officer laughed. Things progressed after that.

Ride home from work was going fine until some decided if you indicate to change lanes you've got right of way even if there's a motorbike in your way. Twot wouldn't even look at me when I banged on his window.

The other thing that stands out to me is his riding position, looks like he's well back on the seat, straight stiff arms, never going to have good control of a bike like that.
But way to fast for his ability and the situation.
