... I think Duke was unlucky They changed the spec of the engine bearings on 2008-on motors. I tried contacting Aprilia Italy direct at one point and though they seemed to want to help, they had no idea what was going on. Had i not contacted the head of Piaggio UK direct, i suspect the bike would ...

Read on RSVR and there are loads. I guess Duke was just unlucky with his, not then helped by bad dealer backup.
I do spend a fair bit on her to keep her in tip top form though.

... yately series was just a "turn up after work and run" kind of thing. I've been lucky injury wise. One of the coaches did at this to me though, and it's oh so very true. "Runners only have 3 conditions, running personal bests, injured, or recovering"

Budget tax increases
... the way these rules have been abused by people in the public sector selling their services back to the government. Its a very hefty tax increase though on those who genuinely run their own small business. Also i suspect some of this is to pave the way to do away with separate tax and NIC rates ...

Tw-t of the day
... I see the car driver check his mirrors. He and I indicate to the right at the same time. Nothing wrong with that. What is happening behind me though is something else. Me and the car driver have seen the cyclist in good time. However, the tw-t on the old red Honda thinks he's going to hammer ...
