Re: Brexit thread

But that’s exactly what the British Government is saying now. Not British and not rich then you are not welcome here, in their eyes.

It’s not a Britain that I want to be associated with.

Re: Brexit thread

... racism, expensive cost of living now or social discontent in the country. I see a lot of UK bashers over here who live in an expat bubble with their expat mates. It makes them feel better about moving from the UK and helps them boost their own self esteem while being smug at people who at least ...

Re: Mr Postman

View it as a learning experience.... many, if not most people will end up in court at one time or another in their lives, on either the right or wrong side of the law. The whole legal process can be a very interesting one, and it usually works fairly well in practice.

I think men tend to be more aggressive... they try to force a mistake from their opponent rather than wait for one. Strength vs. finesse, I suppose.

Re: Weekender - 10th-12th September

You guys ain't seen (heard) nothing yet, I'll sleep in the garage!

I once fell asleep at a party and woke up on a mattress outside the building. I wouldn't have minded, but the party was on the 12 floor and the building didn't have a working lift! Such was their desperation/determination.

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?

That said, that is their guess. There is always the possibility that the vaccines could cause the virus to mutate to become less virulent.

The problem with it is its ability to spread quickly, not the danger to life.

Google's Deep Mind

I understand that Google have chosen to distribute their ( Skynet ) AI software for free,,, to: "further the interests of humanity"..

Their view of "Humanities interests" would appear to be viewed through rosier tints than my jaded view.. :^
