I Got my first RSV4 tested on a track day there a few years ago no problem, they ask you to get it tested there if you're not sure.
Mine was 117db I wasn't doing a track day just curious to what noise it was knocking out.

they are very strict at castle coombe especially with bikes,I would do as you suggest and ride down when they have a track day on and ask to be tested

Not sure if sales pitch or not but when I bought mine I was told in the Dainese store they wouldn't accept any return for warranty (admittedly unlikely) ...
