Strange how they're not convinced the R1 is good for the road when so many say it is . I guess it depends what you're looking for in a bike.

... I m looking at booking a long weekend end away hopefully in Venice with the missus in october. So will be trying to book it this week. As you say good time to book as euro is weak so Italian hotels should effectively be cheap and thanks to a low oil price air travel is relatively cheap.

... as a memento.... I don't mind admitting I was genuinely bricking it when I rode back up to the accident scene. So glad when I heard you speak and say you were OK, the relieve was huge (whew) I'm just so glad you were there. Not nice for you but having a friend at the scene made me fell a lot easier.
