Re: Watching the Labour Party tear itself apart.

Well it won't come as a surprise to anyone that I'm voting for Corbyn in the leader election. Can't say I've been this exited about British politics since 97, just hope I won't be as disappointed as 98!

Re: Watching the Labour Party tear itself apart.

I'm not dissing Corbyn himself as i suspect he may well be the most 'honourable' of the 4 ( though that's not to say i agree with much of what he stands for) but he will never be elected to run this country.

Those with the real power would never allow it.

Zero Limits Carbon Fibre

... false; A query from a fellow Slapper had me talking to Paul today about the possibility of a forum discount. I'm pleased to say that he's more than happy to offer a 10% discount to all Tankslappers. I've not had any of the carbon stuff personally but I've known Paul for quite ...

Atomic Attacks on Japan

... false; It's 70 years on. Japan is rightfully remembering the tragic events the people of its county suffered. I can't believe however that people say it was the wrong thing to do. The Japs fought to the death. An invasion would have cost tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of lives ...

... all complimented each other. It also shows how easy it is for a youth to get tangled up into the wrong crowd. Very good in my opinion. But like I say it's not to everyone's tastes. If you watch it you have to look past the 'bruv' words and see the story unfold. The sad thing about it is too some ...

Re: Not good reading

The road from Newtown to the Cross Gates is horrible. I say that as a biker. I avoid it, even though it's not that far from me, as the last time I rode it I had FIVE near-misses with morons on bikes going far too fast, underestimating the severity of ...

... accident rates have been falling since 1980 although reductions had stagnated in the last 8 years. The authorities are spinning it a diffirent way saying there has been an increase in the last 7 years but don't say by how much so I'm assuming it's a very small increase and overall the accident ...

Re: Kwacky's very brief zx10r review

I think it's easy to argue that a bike is over geared when they're hitting 70mph in first, so the other 5 gears aren't needed on the road. As you say, changing the gearing is a quick and easy fix so it makes it possible to have the bike running the way you want. We ride bikes differently. I'm heavy ...

Re: Kwacky's very brief zx10r review

The only criticism they could level at it in sboty was it didn't have a quickshifter and was over geared but a quick £45 sprocket chain fixes one of those straight away and tbh although I would like a quickshifter I can't say I'm missing one on road riding duties tbh.
