BMW recommend 36/42, I asked a Metzeler tyre guy once and he told me the same. I never run them at that though.
Duke I'm pretty sure its not to seat the tyres. That would be done on first inflating the tyres and then dropping them to the required pressure.

I try and avoid the big coffee chains for this reason (they're all as bad as each other) and go for local independents where possible. The coffee's usually better quality too.

May Day run
Went down to Hastings today for the May Day run, I think it was something like 32,000 bikes last year and had to be about the same this year, handed out loads of TS cards so hopefully at least a few new people will sign up, but anyway here are some photos of the day, some stunning bikes ...

... a trolley jack is get on the Abba stand and put a ratchet strap round the swingarm and ratchet down to something solid on the floor basically the same as the arm lift but free (y)
