Dam, I should have gone last year.
I would like to do it but don't fancy a 7 hour trip there and back.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Packed up the track bike. I've managed to fettle the leathers so I can do the fly's up with some pliers and the jacket with a key ring. Not practical for road riding but fine on the track.
Going to check Fridays forecast again and if it's still OK I will be booking Friday at Mallory.

Motorcycle Off Road Experience Day - Wiltshire
<r>Some may remember the photos of me covered in dirt after doing this last year.

It was a huge amount of fun and a good taster for off road biking and all for only £30, and everything included on some decent off road bikes.

The only downside i can see this year is that its ...

... a problem. If you were riding with anyone we alwYs dropped to single file when cars needed to pass. It's not rocket science. Respect for the other roads users and its your safety too! The attitude to cycling in NZ is awesome. It's a national past time. Then I moved Aussie. I was riding to work ...

Re: Supercorsa's in the wet?
Grip wise they aren't as bad as you might expect in the wet, just bear in mind that the tread isn't designed to shift much water so I wouldn't use them on standing water. I used them (on the road) over two winters and never found them lacking as long as I was gentle for the first few miles.

... personally.... I've never spun up a back tyre as easy as the supercorsa in the wet... But then again I wouldn't do a wet track session on pilot Road 4 either.. Throw your dice if you feel lucky do a wet session! It may be dry so fingers crossed They take a bit more to warm up than all out Road ...
