I was at the dyno in the paddock today bog standard fireblade was putting out 177bhp at the rear wheel and its a couple of years old

159hp? What a waste of time that project it. Muppets will buy them of course, but most people wouldn't even notice that. It's a fireblade alternative for over ten times the price!

For that money I'd want 200 plus hp and a race paint job at least.

At least the H2R looks special. Kwak even went to getting special paint for it.

Honda do have a habit of taking things and making them bland.

I see Honda have announced that one of these bikes will be built each day, with production ending at the end of 2016

A bargain price of just £137,000.

... were still wandering around on a live course which meant all I got to see was about 3 milliseconds as each bike whizzed past the end of the road , still good to watch but shite for taking photo's , so I didn't bother and just enjoyed the race .

... Normally go for motul rbf600. There is better but very good spec for the price point. Never had fade on track with this so more than enough for a road bike. Ask Opie oils for tech advice if struggling to decide what to use.

Good point Road race if that was the case then fair enough. But if it was MD would be better speaking up and explaining himself to avoid any bad press, although saying that he probably doesn't even care, but perhaps should as his image to potential future sponsors is important.
