It's special I agree but not special enough to justify 60k imo. I genuinely would prefer the more road focused 1299 if I had the choice.

Think what you could buy with 60k (lol)

Ducati 1299s for the road, Yamaha R1M for the track and a BMW S1000XR for holidays and days out with the missus. Plus you would still have best part of 10 grand cash for fuel, tyres and track days (rock)

... around London without a single leak. The set I have now have only leaked once but to be fair to them the rain was so heavy it was bouncing off the road to waist height. So heavy in fact I had to pull over as I couldn't actually see the road.

There is a road up there but it's 35% and narrow, and if you get vertigo then don't bother as it's unfenced, have you been up The Burway kwacky? I occasionally ride it and just hope I never have to do a hill start up there...

I might do that at some point, new leathers for the road have to come first though or I'm not going to get any riding in this year... Videos below from the first two sessions, I'm really quite impressed with the camera not only are the videos good ...

... Barely used, not a high end set, AGV Sport, but still will be good second set. Bit more room in them than my Beriks so probably use them on the road (so I can fit gear on underneath) once the triumph is painted. There's a guy just down the road that does most of my work (Gary from the bike base or GS Tyres - two names same place!) He usually beats many other places for tyres around the local area. I'll prob give him a call and see what he can do. But £130 seems magic to me for a bloody good tyre
