Ah okay.. something you might like is the Skenfrith road between Ross-on-Wye and Abergavenney.. very nice B-road The Tintern road is so busy with Traffic I avoid it like the plague, the Usk Roads are much quieter albeit not as nice scenery down there. ...

... (f1) My laptop does have windows on it though, but that's only because of work. My work laptop does, but I never really use it unless I'm on the road. I run Windows 7 in a VirtualBox VM on my desktop for apps that won't translate to Linux and my own laptop is a Mac. Iam04 on PSN.

why do you get a TV licence ? There is no way of detecting if you have a TV or what you use it for , I have not had a TV licence - ever .

I pay more for my bike than my car, the car has to be causing more damage on the road in all ways, the whole thing is a bloody con, just like the bill for my tv licence.... Bloody rip off.

There's no such thing as road tax.
That said, I don't mind paying VED for my bike. It's a tiny cost of running a bike.
Does that petition take into account the 2017 rules on vehicle excise duty?

There's an Aston Martin garage down the road - I'd likely try it there too A friend of mine did exactly that. :) He was a piot for one of the big Formula 1 team owners and so made more money ...

It depends on the Insurer, but the vast majority of them are fine with a Cat D going back on the road. Some may ask to see an MOT but that's about it.
