Re: Abolish road tax for motocycles

"Live" is the key word , I do not watch or record any live broadcasts and therefore do not require a licence . Tbh, I think shown online probably legally counts as "shown live". You're watching it "as live". That's why it mentions recording devices... Don't get me wron...

Re: Abolish road tax for motocycles

True. But it still has to be paid at the moment so at least it's fairer and proportional to road and car use.

Re: Abolish road tax for motocycles

You need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch or record programmes as they're being shown on TV or live on an online TV service. This is the case whether you use a TV, computer, tablet, mobile phone, games console, digital box, DVD/VHS recorder or any other device.

Re: Abolish road tax for motocycles

As far as I'm aware not paying for a TV lience is a criminal offence and therefore would land you a criminal record and if fines are not paid could ultimately see you in prison. If they can prove your watching broadcast television. A television on its own does not need a license. I know a few peopl...

They do, but they don't have the right of entry from what I know.

In France it's part of the council tax equivalent so you can't dodge it.
