Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
... nothing VFR1200 that I bought in August and don't like at all. Yeah, hard to go around corners - especially roundabouts - without grinding the right peg, but that's part of the fun. Apparently. I'm keeping the Dodo (125 Varadero) to commute on and my R1 for hooligan amusement, too. This is ...

... cheaper to get new chain and sprockets at the service or separate. If I wasn't such a prick I would have changed it sooner. It was by no means the right thing to do. I am surprised it lasted as well as it did. However, I couldn't say if it was actually ok still by that time. I doubt it. The chain ...

It was a good ride, and just right for my first one back on new tyres, and after I had took wheels off and brake calipers apart.

... just 3 years old and with 30k on the clock so although not quite new it feels and looks like it me. She's got all the options I wanted and in the right colour scheme imo, silver with black leather. Went for a paddle shift auto and it's a really nice drive and boy is it quick which is surprising ...

Fantastic. Well done him!
Your right to make sure he doesn't get a bit complacent now his offer is unconditional, however that's a real relief for you too on his future.

Blade. Honestly some dealers are just crap. Don't take it too personally, if they don't want the business someone will want it and treat you how a customer should be treated. Hope your search becomes easier and you find the right car

Re: Cat-D right offs
For the track it sounds a great way of picking up a good bike for less. Even for the road it's a good idea. You just have to have all the documentsbof what went on and knowledge of how to repair it, or learn how to repair and work on it as a project.

Re: Cat-D right offs
Never knew much about all these written off vehicles, all pretty interesting. Clearly a good way of picking up cheaper vehicles If you're happy to/enjoy repairing motorbikes then it is a pretty sensible option IMHO. Obviously not for people who want a pristine new... Perfect for track bike project ...

Still hammering Fallout 4 right now. I said to the missus I'd make a brew once I'd finished this mission.
40 minutes later she asked me where it was.
I still hadn't finished!
