Re: Industrial hearing loss
A friend was telling me he had a similar call at home the other day...so he left the phone on top of the TV........for half an hour....and what with this being a mobile, the cold caller can't ring off until the mobile is disconnected. After half an hour ...

Re: Bike Cams.
... and I actually think it is the waterproof case which is the reason for vibration. The mounts and everything else are rock solid. And if I use the other mounts there's no movement. It is only when you use the waterproof case (which has a built in mounting point but is made of a clear pllastic) ...

Re: Bike Cams.
Well I tried it out this morning. Not an interesting video so I haven't bothered uploading it. Just a test. And what it showed is that there's too much vibration in the mount at the moment. Need to get it sorted. It gives the video a kind of wobble. While I ...

Re: Caught Speeding.... bugger.
I paid a visit to D6 the other night to pick up the levers for the kwak.
On the way there I spotted a White Speed Triple being driven very carefully at just under 40mph through some roadworks.
I think he's learned his lesson![Big Smile :D](./images/smilies/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif)

Another vote for ; you need to move up a group Rob. You were streets ahead of all the others on there, and you are unlikely to encounter so many dangerous obstacles when your lap times are closer to those of the other riders ...

... me really think about stuff as she is about the same age as my mum and her son is the same age as me and were quite similar, we sorta know each other as both in fairly successful local bands,so it all feels a little too close to home, just feel rubbish now, oh well if anything good comes from ...

It's a suggestion thread. If no one is interested it won't happen. If you want to propose some other dates throw them in the ring.

I like them mate!! They look pretty snazzy.
And as you say, any additional signalling which other road users may see is a bonus

Wasting my time. Went to a settlement meeting. The other side refused to make an offer (facepalm). They simply told us our opening offer was too low. Close friends of ours were on that particular roundabout with an Ins Co that has the letters V&L ...

All booked up.
As mentioned in the other thread, Inters fullly booked - have gone for the novices as I am nowhere near quick enough for fast.

... as to booking in the inters. But I am also aware that being in Novice's when you can ride at a reasonably quick pace is no fun for me or the other riders in the group. I am looking at booking cadwell, what would your thoughts be on booking into the inters? It is quite a difficult and tight ...

First gen daytona 675 quickshifter
... thing - a quickshifter. Obviously the OEM one doesn't fit the first generation bikes so I'm after a stand alone unit and don't want to piggyback another system (like a PC3). I have heard of failures in strain gauge types with friends breaking DynoJet and Triumph units. I'm currently running ValterMoto ...

Didn't watch all the vid but I'd say you need to move up to inters. Your relative speed to most of the others is too big and recon you'd feel a lot safer in inters. It's much easier and it all flows better when you're arriving at a corner doing similar speeds to the other ...

Engine temps again
Just on the coolant temp note from the other thread, my bike heats up very quickly. When I am doing around 30-40 the temp will rise until the fan kicks in. If I am stopped it will rise quickly to 102 and fan kicks in and it will stay at that ...
