Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I've travelled 200 miles for the right machine before Nutz.
Book a cheap 1 way train ticket. Enjoy a few hours chilling on the train with a film and a little pack of goodies and then have an epic ride home.
See it as a nice day out rather that a big chore is my advice![Laughing out loud (lol)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0140-rofl.gif)

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
Jon, there is a red 848 Streetfighter advertised in the latest Ducati Owners Club mag for £5,500. 4,950 miles and will be sold with new belt service. based in Cornwall. let me know if you would like the owners number. That's a good price for the bike and having the belts done is a massive bonus. No...

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I like the super Duke you posted Nutz and the 848 SF Duke posted sounds good too. If it's ownered by a Ducats Enthusiast it will most probably be like new too ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0103-cool.gif)

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
If you're going to another big V twin it's not a massive leap of faith. But if you're buying, why not try before you buy?

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I think we all have a general idea on which bikes we might like. I would have thought that a Superduke is close enough to your current bike but with the changes you want, without it being too big a risk.

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
You may find an eBay advert live tomorrow for an RSV!
I'm very tempted to take a risk and just buy without test riding loads of bikes, with the thought in mind to just sell it on quickly if it doesn't suite.
Is that too risky is the question?

And from experience you can add a decent set of ear plugs to that shipping listduke63 wrote: A decent air box set up and bigger exhausts are the next logical step but that can wait til next year. Just want to enjoy it for now.

... been revalved and works as well as Ohlins IMHO. The Showa forks are very good once worked on. A decent air box set up and bigger exhausts are the next logical step but that can wait til next year. Just want to enjoy it for now.

Riding it and tracking it.
It does need either a new steering damper or the standard one rebuilt.
Next winter I want to look at improving the breathing of the bike.

Re: Mr Postman
A new credit card. I'm unsure if I get a new pun code come through the post in the next few days or if I can use my old pin. Any ideas? It's not like these cards are updated every few months but instead every few years so it's not information I actually withhold ...
