... DMC have got that they'll order the parts and then we can book the bike in. No update from the police, the person dealing with it is away until next week. No update from my solicitor so I've had to chase him as well.

Still making dinner for us. Our neighbours next door but one said they were having Xmas and boxing day in the garden and apologised in advance for any noise. They put a 30ft x 30ft marquee up which seemed weird tbh but we ve just seen waiters ...

... fish. (as well as some steak, pork and duck) Tools will be put away this afternoon and then its time to gradually empty the fridge over the next week :) It's been a long, lucky and happy year, but we do need a break and turn into vegetables for a few days thats for sure.

... when on hills. In the car I always have the rear mirror dipped, and also wear a pair of those yellow glasses to reduce the brightness and glare. Next time I get my eyes tested in going to ask the optician of there is anything better I can try

Slightly related, people who can't use their F-ing indicators on a roundabout or navigate around one in a logical way, I very nearly took out a driving school car because it wanted to turn left from the innermost lane (Right only). It was next to me when we set off and I was going straight on |(

Just fancied something different. Bought them in the 40% off sale so if I don't like them, then not a lot lost.

Brakes will get a full strip down next week. Proper clean, new pads, new fluid and lines.

Next time, just pay the £56 and sit in First Class anyway....when the conductor checks your ticket he should give you the option of going back to sit in Second, or paying some nominal charge to stay in First. £5 or something like that.

Obi-Wan was never 'struck down'.....he disappeared into the "Force-Dimension", or whatever it's called......there was no body, just his monk's habit with his light-saber on top.

Which means he went into the next life totally naked, I suppose
